During his decades of law practice, he worked with thousands of clients to develop and implement their estate plans, including advice regarding wills, trusts, probate, business entities, charitable trusts and charitable foundations.\n \nA frequent lecturer and speaker, Bill has authored six books on the subject of estate planning and family wealth transfer. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council (ACTEC) and, during his active law practice, was listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America. Bill serves on several foundation boards and is widely sought as an advisor on charitable planning strategies. He received one of the first Philanthropic Leadership Awards from The Denver Foundation and was awarded the Bonfils Blood Center Foundation Leadership Award. He has recently been awarded the first Philanthropic Legacy Award from The Denver Foundation.
