Estate Planning Council of Southeast Denver (EPCSED) Announces Reorganization

DENVER -- The Estate Planning Council of Southeast Denver (EPCSED) is now structured as a 501(C)6) member-owned nonprofit corporation.

The organization was co-founded by Jack Levine and Ling Lam in 1998. Jack passed away quite suddenly in December of 2005, at which time Ling took over as Executive Director for the following year. Jack’s dedication to the organization is dearly missed. This member-owned nonprofit provides a platform to encourage discussion and the exchange of ideas among estate planning professionals. Jack and Ling worked closely together to form this cooperative alliance of attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, and bank trust officers dedicated to continuing professional education concerning estate planning and tax law in an effort to constantly improve our members’ ability to provide outstanding services to their clients. The organization will also continue to educate the public by teaching, disseminating education materials, and promoting inter-professional collaboration on all aspects of proper estate planning.

The council meets quarterly for educational seminars on many topics surrounding Estate Planning. We also provide occasional networking/social opportunities. Guests are welcome to visit for the first time at no cost. Please contact Board President Scott Grossman for further information.

We always welcome the insights of our members for speaker and topic suggestions.
