EPCSED Meeting: Annual Meeting, Balancing Exemption Allocation Between Asset Transfer and Insurance

Please join EPCSED for our upcoming seminar:
Balancing Exemption Allocation Between Asset Transfer and Insurance
This presentation explores strategies for maximizing estate and gift tax efficiency for ultra-high-net-worth clients by balancing the use of lifetime exemption between asset transfers and life insurance. Attendees will examine the relative benefits of transferring appreciating assets, premium financing, and private split-dollar arrangements, including their impact on estate liquidity, gift tax exposure, and long-term wealth transfer. The discussion will also address key structuring considerations, risks, and relevant case law to help advisors evaluate which approaches may be appropriate based on a client’s balance sheet, liquidity, return expectations, and planning objectives.
