Presented By:
Tom Pugh serves as a Vice President for MLG Capital, responsible for acquisitions in the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest. Based in our Denver office, he is actively involved in the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, financing, and closing of new investment opportunities for MLG’s direct and Legacy Fund strategies. He also assists in the operations and asset management of the existing Legacy Fund portfolio and fundraises for MLG’s series of private funds.
Before MLG Capital, Tom was a Commercial Mortgage Analyst at American Equity Life Insurance. At American Equity, Tom underwrote new financing opportunities and assisted in originating loans on multiple property types throughout the country.
Tom played college football at Drake University where he graduated with degrees in Finance and Economics. Outside of work, Tom and his wife, Jenna, enjoy being with friends and family, spending time outdoors, and keeping up with their energetic pup, Juneau.
Erin Horman, CPA, is MLG Capital’s Director of Tax Strategy. She plays a key role in the development and implementation of tax strategy, deal structuring, advising, and consulting for investors and prospective investors of MLG Capital’s tax deferred products, including the MLG Legacy Fund and Managed Accounts.
Prior to joining MLG, Erin served as a Director of Tax for Sikich LLC in their Brookfield office where she worked with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and their owners on tax compliance, analysis, and strategic planning. She had a specialty focus on real estate and partnership tax law.
Erin attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and is a CPA.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys watching her son compete in high school track and her daughter compete in high school track and club fast-pitch softball. While not on the sidelines, she enjoys traveling, Northern Wisconsin, puzzles, reading, hiking, and pickleball.
